Refunds
Last updated 18 September 2026
Fourteen days. No reason needed. One email. That's the whole policy; the rest of this page is the detail.
The window
Anything you buy on this site can be refunded in full for 14 days from the day you paid. You don't have to explain, and we won't ask you to. The window counts from the payment, not from when you first opened what you bought or how far you got with it.
This is our own policy, and we apply it to everyone. If you're a consumer in the UK or the EU you also have a statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital content, which runs for 14 days too. Nothing here shortens that right, and if the law gives you longer somewhere, the law wins.
How to ask
Reply to any email we've sent you, or write to hello@thepersonalpolicy.com from the address you bought with. Say "refund" and nothing else if you like. There's no form, and there's no one to argue with.
We answer from a real inbox, so it can take a day. The 14 days are counted from when you write, not from when we read it.
What happens
- The money goes back to the card you paid with. We refund the full amount through our payment processor. It usually shows on your statement inside five to ten working days, depending on your bank.
- Your access ends. The private link you were sent stops working once the refund is issued. Anything you'd written in the workbook stays in our database under the same rules as your audit answers, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Nothing else changes. Your audit result, the Six-Month Letter, and any newsletter you subscribed to are separate, and a refund doesn't touch them.
After 14 days
We don't refund automatically after the window, but we'd still rather hear from you than not. If something didn't work — the link, the page, the emails — write and we'll fix it or make it right.
Disputes
If you ask your bank to reverse a charge instead of asking us, the result is the same as a refund — access ends — but it takes longer and costs both of us more. Asking us first is faster, and we say yes.
